Conflict-Free Minerals Procurement Policy

Innovative Development, Taking Responsibility

Armed rebel groups in the DRC and its neighboring countries have caused social and environmental problems like human rights abuses and armed violence through metal mining and trading. Minerals such as tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), tungsten (W), gold (Au), cobalt (Co), and mica sourced via smuggling or under the control of non-state armed or illegal military groups are conflict minerals. TFC Communication strictly abides by the IPC-1755 Conflict Minerals Data Exchange Standards. We neither procure nor support the use of conflict minerals and expect the same from our suppliers. We conduct due diligence on suppliers' metal origins, using CMRT and EMRT to require them to disclose mineral sources and jointly comply with the conflict-free minerals policy.
